Chronology of cameras Alsaphot
The body of the Dauphin III is made of pressed steel covered with a frosted paint. The shutter has evolved compared to model I, which offers bulb mode and instant, and model II, which has two speeds (1/25 and 1/75) + B. Now, the speed scale ranges from 1/25 to 1/200 + B, and it has a flash socket.
The shooting lens, which was a meniscus lens on models I and II, is an anastigmat on the III; here the Dauphin III is equipped with a Boyer Topaz lens. It is found in catalogs offered with an Alsaphot Alsar.
There is a dark gray version.
The prices in the catalogs of that time range from 9,750 to 9,920 francs.
